Over the last two days I had the honor of covering “AJ Rafael Presents: Music Speaks”, a benefit concert for Autism Speaks. The 2-day event, presented by AJ Rafael, showcased a music’s upcoming and rising talents. It was quite a blessing to see so much talent among my peers.

The cause of the this benefit concert really hit home for me. For those of you who are unaware, my younger brother was diagnosed with Autism about 19 years ago. I remember distinctly that my brother’s pediatrician had absolutely no knowledge of the condition to provide my parents with. Its so reassuring that there are people out there who are helping spread awareness and raising support.
